Description of FeCrCo Magnets
· FeCrCo has similar properties to cast Alnico 5 but, unlike cast alnico, the FeCrCo magnets are reasonably malleable. FeCrCo alloy can be made into bars, strips, wires, and pipes through cold thermoplastic deformation. It can also be cold punched, bent, drilled, and various cutting processes to make various complex magnet components. The minimum wire diameter can be as high as 0.05mm, and the thickness of the thinnest strip is only 0.1mm.
Characters Of FeCrCo Magnets
· Multi-pole availability, good machine ability, precisely fits high precision designs, complexed shapes, and small sizes
· Curie temperature reach 680℃
· Working temperature reach 400℃
· Low reversible temperature coefficient
· Malleable – FeCrCo is more accessible to machines than Alnico
· FeCrCo can be hot deformed
· The maximum recommended operating temperature is typically around +400°C
Surface Treatments
· No special surface treatments are required for FeCrCo magnets since they are resistant to oxidation.
